A Real Estate Motivational Speaker And A Tale Of Two

Before I begin speaking about a real estate motivational speaker, here is an interesting account that will lead to further explanation. A few weeks back, it flashed to me that I didn't have any proper assets that would serve as a pension during my retired life. This made me think about investing in land. Personally, I feel real estate investment is the best form of investment because, land value always appreciates, never depreciates. In this regard, I sought out to find a real estate broker. Luckily, there's no scarcity for real estate brokers in town and I could easily locate one. It was a small building, furnished with a single desk, which looked dusty, apparently from long periods of disuse. A portly man was behind the desk, a smirk upon his face. As I entered, he acknowledged me with a nod, which I think meant, asking me to take a seat. I told him about my requirement and the budget range. He gave me a look of impassiveness and told me that he'd let me know in a couple of days. The way it all went, I wasn't too confident about the credibility of the man.

So I was walking along the street when a man beckoned me. It was a young man of about twenty. He had a smile on his face and said, "Sir, I saw you emerging from the broker's shop there, and from the look on your face, I can see that you are dissatisfied. Perhaps I could help you better, if you could step in to my office". I was impressed by the fluid manner in which he won my confidence. The office was small, but neatly maintained. The desk was clean, and there was a vase of bougainvilleas in a corner, sunlight flooding the room. The broker gave me a couple of brochures to browse, and sat beside me, asking me for the type of land I needed and the details. I eagerly gave him the details and he took my number. He told me that he would call me the next evening, and he did. It all went well, I got my land, and he got his commission.

Having given accounts of two kinds of real estate dealers, it's obvious that the former is a bad example and the latter is a good one. The traits that differentiate the two are few but important. First, a real estate motivational speaker must look at his client while speaking. It is a boost for the customer that the speaker takes you seriously. Secondly, the appearance of a real estate motivational speaker is important. People who deal in real estate investments would be rich; they wouldn't want to confer the task of looking up land, on a fellow who looks like a tramp. A real estate motivational speaker must dress up neatly, even if he doesn't look flamboyant. Another important virtue for a real estate motivational speaker is the ability to market his land effectively. The secret of business lies in marketing the product. A real estate motivational speaker, must hence, advertise his land in such a way that the clients feel attracted towards the land and believe that investing in the land would reap rich returns. A real estate motivational speaker must also be assertive in his speech and authentic in its content. He shouldn't give misleading information which would mar his reputation among the public. A speaker who is genuine in his facts, persuading in his speech and convincing in his actions is one who becomes a real estate motivational speaker. Such a speaker would be invaluable to any real estate agency and would find himself in a respectable position in the company.
